The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for an MI Analyst who has core experience working with Tableau desktop (essential) and server (preferrable) and SQL experience. Prior experience with Snowflake is preferred but not required. The MI analyst will be a self-starter, will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working directly with stakeholders.
The MI analyst will be solely assigned to the London Market MI team working on BAU tickets raised by functional teams for a short 6 month engagement. There is an option to extend but would come under a separate SOW.Responsibilities

    Support the MI Team Lead in constructing a backlog and roadmap (user stories/technical requirements)Facilitate internal and external stakeholder workshops, building a valuable relationship with our end-user communityBe an integral part of the squad and drive the delivery of Tableau ReportsBuild Dashboards according to both Visualisation and Tableau Best PracticesBe an advocate of data visualisation and have a detailed understanding of Visualisation best practice.Consume and understand complex specifications and turn these into valuable product driven outputsAnalyse issues with reports and data discrepancies to drive root cause analysisCollaborate with engineers, testers, and other team members to ensure quality and timely deliveryCommunicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing

Requirements and Experience

    At least 5 years of experience of Tableau Desktop building Dashboards to a nominated spec, preferably working in an insurance or regulatory environment. Including migration of static reporting into dynamic Tableau dashboards.Be able to demonstrate engagement in Tableau Community via an active Tableau Public profile.Advantageous to have had experience in application and desktop migrations, particularly within a Citrix environmentStrong knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques, such as user stories, use cases, wireframes, UML, BPMN, etc.Experience in working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum and KanbanExcellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skillsMust be able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Location and DurationThis Senior Onshore Data Analyst role based in London, UK. Language: English and Portugese
The duration of the statement of work will be 6 months commencing on 4th August 2025, with a possibility of extension, depending on the project needs and performance.
Hiscox operates a hybrid working environment, and the successful candidate will be required to be onsite at the location above for 2 days per week.??
