Software Developer Permanent | Hybrid working Newcastle- Leeds or Manchester) | AWS- Azure- BPSS We are looking for Software Developers with strong AWS and Azure experience to work at an early stage alongside enterprise architects and senior engineers. You will help research, design and prototype the foundations of a new service, with particular emphasis on automation, integration and intelligent workflows. You will join Peregrine who are supporting a large public sector organisation, starting an ambitious transformation programme. The aim is to explore whether multiple existing approaches can be consolidated into a single, streamlined service. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, You will be responsible for driving improvements through both new system functionality and changes to supporting processes. You will work alongside experts in technical development to scope and design solutions that meet a range of business and technical requirements, while ensuring the needs of the user remain at the heart of the service. Responsibilities: * Technical design, collaborating with architect to help design and shape the technical approach and solution, expert level knowledge in designing and implementing microservices based solution using Java and Spring Boot * Proven ability in delivering thorough unit level test coverage using common testing frameworks such as JUnit * Expertise in current programming languages and frameworks such as Java and Spring Boot along with experience working with cloud platforms AWS & Azure, utilising CI/CD. * A passion for clean, maintainable, secure software * You’ll have successfully provided technical leadership to Agile project teams, having delivered high-quality software solutions that make a real impact, with experience of breaking down designs into deliverable technical stories.
