The Role

The consultant will act as Product Owner for SailPoint - one of the Bank’s Payments products. They will manage the product’s backlog, including seeking stakeholder input on priority, and contribute to regular events – including sprint and quarterly planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Progress the design of some (already prioritised) items – including working with Business Analysts to analyse requirements and turn them into business designs.
  • Continue analysis of the future backlog – discussing requirements with stakeholders and adding tickets to (Jira) backlog as required.
  • Preparing for and delivering at regular events – including quarterly and sprint planning.
  • Determining release scope – in line with priorities discussed and agreed.
  • Managing release documentation and ensuring changes meet acceptance criteria.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong background in product ownership, business analysis or related topic.
  • Experience working with a team to prioritise and deliver a backlog.
  • Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and delivery teams.
  • Ability to seek and analyse stakeholder feedback to inform prioritisation.
  • Experience turning stakeholder feedback into business designs and requirements.
  • Experience in SailPoint is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence is beneficial.

Security Level: Security Clearance is mandatory.
