The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Demand Management Analyst to join a large-scale transformation programme supporting a major UK organisation.
Working within an established PMO function, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing the lifecycle of demand requests, change requests and project activities.
Acting as the central point of contact for incoming work, you'll ensure requests are assessed, prioritised, governed and tracked through to completion.
This role is ideal for someone with strong PMO, Project Support, Service Management or Demand Management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly organised environment.
Applicants must hold active SC Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for incoming demand and change requests.
- Review, assess and triage requests, ensuring all required information has been captured.
- Coordinate demand requests through established governance processes.
- Log, manage and track work items using Jira.
- Monitor progress from request through to delivery, tracking milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Manage shared mailboxes and respond to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
- Liaise with business stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists to gather requirements and resolve queries.
- Produce management reports, dashboards and status updates using Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
- Support governance meetings and maintain project documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation and ways of working.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the programme.
Skills & Experience
You'll have experience in one or more of the following areas
- Demand Management, PMO, Project Support, Change Management or Service Management.
- Experience coordinating multiple work requests simultaneously.
- Experience using Jira (or similar work management tools).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong Microsoft Power Point skills.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience tracking risks, issues, dependencies and delivery milestones.
- Ability to prioritise competing workloads within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Active SC Clearance.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience within a large, complex organisation.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting Digital or Technology programmes.
- Experience working within a PMO or Portfolio Management Office.
- PRINCE2 Foundation or ITIL Foundation certification.
