Your role as Project Manager is to lead/manage the project and the project team. You will be responsible for driving and overseeing the project’s delivery to ensure objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints. You will have a key role in project governance and working with stakeholders to ensure the agreed project outputs are delivered, enabling benefits to be realised.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrated Programme Planning
    • Develop and maintain the integrated programme plan.
    • Define scope, milestones, dependencies, critical path, and delivery roadmap.
    • Baseline and track programme progress.
  • Planning & Controls
    • Design and implement programme planning and controls frameworks.
    • Establish standards for scheduling, change control, risk, issue, and dependency management.
    • Embed programme management best practice.
  • Programme Reporting
    • Create and manage reporting frameworks and governance outputs.
    • Produce executive reporting, RAG status updates, risk reports, and delivery dashboards.
    • Provide clear visibility of programme performance and delivery confidence.
  • Risk & Dependency Management
    • Review and improve existing risk management processes.
    • Ensure effective identification, escalation, and mitigation of risks and dependencies.
    • Maintain RAID governance across the programme.
  • Stakeholder & Governance Support
    • Support the Programme Manager in driving delivery and governance.
    • Engage with senior stakeholders across government, law enforcement, and industry partners.

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience developing and managing integrated programme plans within complex delivery environments.
  • Strong programme planning and scheduling expertise, including critical path analysis, dependency mapping, and baselining.
  • Proven experience establishing programme controls, governance frameworks, and delivery assurance processes.
  • Strong risk, issue, assumption, and dependency (RAID) management experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing programme reporting frameworks, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear delivery insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working across multiple organisations and managing competing priorities in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong understanding of change control, governance, and programme lifecycle management.
  • Experience delivering large-scale transformation or business change programmes.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous delivery environments.
