Responsibilities
- Design and tune semantic matching algorithms, recommendation engines, or NLP models to map employee skills profiles against job descriptions and vacancies.
- Build predictive optimization models that use employee skills, geographic data, and building costs to calculate the most cost-effective location strategy.
- Ensure statistical rigor by handling data imbalances, controlling for historical bias in performance reviews, and reducing false positives in skills matching.
- Work with the Data Analyst to review model metrics, track algorithmic prediction drift, and safely surface model confidence scores to executive decision-makers.
- Develop a proprietary Skills Matching Index to match at‑risk or unallocated employees with live vacancies and long‑term skills gaps across the global bank.
