Join us as an AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Trainer for our client in the media industry. We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to lead the assessment, adoption, and integration of Artificial Intelligence technologies across our organisation. This role sits at the intersection of innovation, training, and operational excellence—identifying opportunities for AI-driven efficiencies and equipping teams across the business to confidently use AI tools in their day-to-day work.
Responsibilities:
- AI Strategy & Implementation: Evaluate existing editorial, production, marketing, and administrative processes to identify where AI solutions can enhance efficiency, quality, or scalability. Recommend and pilot AI tools that align with business goals. Collaborate with product, editorial, technology, and data teams to integrate AI technologies into workflows. Monitor industry trends and competitor adoption of AI to ensure our media operations remain cutting-edge.
- Training & Change Management: Develop and deliver tailored AI training programs for different departments, considering skill levels, job functions, and use cases. Provide hands-on support and documentation to ensure successful adoption and use of AI tools. Act as the primary internal advocate for responsible and ethical use of AI technologies. Gather feedback from teams and iterate training and implementation strategies accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure AI use is aligned with business needs, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Serve as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical users, translating complex AI concepts into practical applications. Establish KPIs to measure the impact of AI initiatives and training efforts.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in applying AI or data science within the media, publishing, or digital content industry.
- Solid understanding of AI tools and their practical applications.
- Experience designing and delivering training or upskilling programs to diverse professional audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Awareness of data privacy, copyright, and ethical considerations in AI adoption.
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Media Technology, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms and tools.
- Background in media production, journalism, or digital marketing is highly desirable.
