The Percy Hedley Foundation is one of the largest regional charities supporting people with a range of learning and physical needs. We have five sites providing specialist education, adult day services, residential care and independent supported living to our service users. Our sites are based in Forest Hall, Killingworth, Jesmond, Newcastle City Centre and North Shields. The Role:
We require a part time, highly motivated, Maintenance Officer who can undertake general maintenance duties as well as support contractors and cleaning staff. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively with others in terms of staff, service providers and visitors. Ideally you will have experience of working in a School or residential home environment although applications will be considered from other suitably experienced candidates. Candidates should be experienced in undertaking a variety of health and safety compliance tests. The role will require working 3 days a week (typically Monday - Friday). This post will be based at our Forest Hall site.
