The Percy Hedley Foundation is one of the largest regional charities supporting people with a range of learning and physical needs. The Role: Hedley's College is looking to recruit a Higher Level Learning Support Assistant, with a main site in Forest Hall and our Hub site in Killingworth. This is a term time only role with an 8.30 - 4pm working day with an additional hour on both a Monday and Wednesday till 5pm to allow for staff development time. Hedys College is a busy, vibrant and varied environment that supports young people aged 16-25 with learning disabilities to access personal paths of education that meet people's aspirations, needs and preferences, thus offering a very individual programme with support from a highly skilled and dedicated team.
The role will involve supporting learning and also covering some teaching sessions including covering any Tutor absence; it is important to be a real team player.
