Based in East London's Hackney, Percival combines a quintessentially British sense of understated style with rare, internationally-sourced fabrics. We produce classic wardrobe staples with a twist, hence the term 'subverting the classics'. Designing, producing, and shooting everything from our London studio, we reject rigid fashion business models. We make small collections frequently, keeping our offering fresh and varied, and sell directly to customers and to exciting wholesale partners.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in East London. The Assistant Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in daily tasks such as inventory management, stock monitoring, sales analysis, and coordinating with suppliers. The Assistant Merchandiser will work closely with various teams to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in achieving sales targets. Personal Skills/Experience
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, confident in building and owning various Merch reports.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, highly organised.
- Good communication skills, keen to build relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Able to make proactive, data-driven decisions within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as an Assistant Merchandiser or Senior Merchandising Admin Assistant within fashion retail. Some experience working with a 3PL required.
- Experience using Shopify and/or a PLM system desirable.
Admin Duties
- Works towards key KPIs; margin, stock and OTB.
- Overseeing trade performance daily, highlighting risks and opportunity to Merchandiser.
- Works with Merch and Product to manage the production planning of key and core lines.
- Updating and reforecasting line cards weekly, proposing continuity and seasonal trade repeats to Merchandiser.
- Full ownership of sizing, raising POs within required time frame.
- Support both the Marketing channels and Wholesale division with clear, accurate visibility of product arriving into the business.
- Confidently owning stores’ stock portfolios and managing allocation plans.
Operations
- Support Merchandiser in management of 3PL.
- Full management over PLM system and data, training up other team members.
- Support inbound to warehouse and stock management. Create and issue products to Shopify via PLM.
Critical path planning and management
- Work with product developers to ensure key planning dates are met and delivery targets achieved.
- Support product developers to ensure accurate data is maintained and stock is delivered on time.
An ambitious team player supporting Merchandiser with admin and analysis, striving to achieve Merchandising KPIs and deadlines. Must be able to display examples of meeting Merchandising goals through data analysis and how this was achieved. Awareness of fashion retail market and competitor activity essential.
