We are seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Production Operative to join our busy Production team at Percival Aviation. This role is suited to someone with a practical mindset, strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work within a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
Based at our site in Fareham, Hampshire the successful candidate will primarily operate our state-of-the-art fabric and leather CNC cutting machine and UV printer, working from electronic files created by the Design team. When required, the role will also involve producing high-quality aerospace components in line with technical drawings and specifications, using a variety of materials including foam, fabric, leather and composites.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and work from technical drawings, electronic files, specifications and production orders to accurately cut, print and kit aerospace materials.
- Operate CNC cutting machinery, UV printing equipment and associated production tools safely and effectively.
- Cut, prepare and assemble materials including foam, fabric, leather and composites to the required quality standards.
- Carry out basic machine checks, routine maintenance and other related tasks.
