We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Production Admin Assistant to support our Production department.
The Production Admin Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Production Manager with the day-to-day administration of production workorders. This role is central to ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of production activity, from stock allocation through to workorder completion and certification. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work accurately within a regulated, quality-driven manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Production Manager with the day-to-day administration of production workorders.
- Allocate correct stock and materials to workorders, ensuring accuracy against bills of materials (BOM) and job requirements.
- Monitor workorder progress and liaise with production staff to track completion status.
- Check and verify that all workorder requirements have been met prior to closing, including quantities, part numbers, and process signoffs.
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory (AS9100 / EASA / CAA, as applicable) standards before closure.
- Create certification paperwork (e.g. Certificates of Conformity, release notes, traceability records) in line with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the company's ERP / MRP system.
- Support stock control processes, including identifying and resolving discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
- Liaise with Stores, Quality, and Engineering departments to resolve workorder or documentation queries.
- File, archive, and maintain production and certification documentation.
