This is an exciting development opportunity for an experienced hospitality manager looking to take the next step in their career. Working closely with General Managers and senior leadership, you will gain exposure to all aspects of restaurant operations while supporting multiple Perch venues when required. You will play a key role in delivering operational excellence, developing teams, driving financial performance, and maintaining the exceptional guest experience that defines the Perch brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Support the day‑to‑day operation of Perch venues to ensure smooth, efficient service.
- Lead shifts and act as Duty Manager when required.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain exceptional food, beverage, and service quality standards.
- Team Development
- Recruit, train, coach and motivate team members.
- Support the development of supervisors and management teams.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and high‑performance culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and development conversations.
- Guest Experience
- Champion outstanding customer service at every touchpoint.
- Resolve guest feedback professionally and proactively.
- Drive a culture of hospitality excellence and continuous improvement.
- Commercial Performance
- Support the achievement of sales, labour and profitability targets.
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management.

- Gain experience across multiple Perch venues where appropriate.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience as a General Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant General Manager or similar hospitality leadership role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Passion for exceptional customer service and hospitality.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of restaurant KPIs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work across Perch venues when required.
- A hands‑on leadership style with a positive attitude.
Desirable
- Experience within premium casual dining, restaurants, cafés or hospitality groups.
- Personal licence holder or licensing knowledge.
- Experience managing P&L performance.
