Join the award-winning team at The Perch – a busy, independent beachside café restaurant serving great food from breakfast through to late afternoon, 364 days a year. We’re known for stunning views, warm hospitality, and a vibrant mix of takeaway and dine-in service.
About the Role
You’ll be part of a fast-paced kitchen team, preparing fresh, high-quality dishes throughout the day. Shifts are mostly daytime, with some evening work during the busy summer period. Our modern, electric kitchens (plus an outdoor pizza oven!) are well-equipped and highly organised.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and plate dishes to spec
- Manage grill, salad, takeaway, and pass sections
- Handle deliveries, stock rotation, and waste control
- Keep the kitchen spotless and well-stocked
- Support the Head Chef with orders, hygiene, and training

- Experience in a busy kitchen
