About Our Team
Perch Group houses data-driven services spanning the entire debt lifecycle, including BPO services, debt collection, debt purchase, reconnection, and litigation services. Working as part of the Operational Transformation team, you will be managing configuration changes to our internal systems, ensuring they are planned and delivered in the agreed timelines.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and enhancing system workflows and configurations across our CRM platforms. You’ll be responsible for leading technical configuration initiatives, working directly with stakeholders across the business, and driving innovation through data-driven insights and robust configuration solutions. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who brings 3–5 years of experience in software configuration, strong SQL and HTML/CSS capabilities, and the confidence to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- System Configuration & Development
- Design and optimise complex workflows that guide accounts through defined life cycles using business logic, decisions, and outcomes.
- Create and maintain advanced communication templates within CRM systems using HTML and CSS.
- Configure system components, forms, and views to meet business-specific needs across multiple user roles.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve configuration and integration issues within CRM platforms.
- Lead the testing and implementation of system configuration changes, ensuring quality and performance.
- Data & Insight
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to support system automation, reporting, and operational needs.
- Build data models and reports to deliver actionable insights to business leaders and operational teams.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Act as a key point of contact between technical teams, business users, and third-party vendors.
- Lead discussions with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide system expertise, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Collaborate with developers to align configuration changes with broader development roadmaps.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline system processes and deliver efficiency gains.
- Proactively suggest improvements based on system performance, user feedback, and business requirements.
