Job Overview
Perch Group is recruiting a Junior FP&A Associate to support the finance team in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment. In this role you will drive performance through financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and treasury operations while contributing to strategic decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly reporting packs, board presentations and KPI dashboards.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning across multiple entities.
- Collaborate with business units to understand performance drivers and identify cost efficiencies.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis for strategic initiatives, investment decisions and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain financial models for scenario planning and appraisal.
- Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain strong working relationships within the finance team and across the organisation.
Treasury Functions
- Prepare monthly performance and covenant reporting to banks and investors.
- Monitor daily cash position and manage short‑term liquidity.
- Support cash flow forecasting and working‑capital optimisation.
- Assist with bank account management, payments and reconciliations.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, including senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling build and review.
- Experience with returns and IRR concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Proactive, curious, and collaborative problem‑solving approach.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent) or working towards one.
- Experience in financial services or debt management industry.
- Experience with FP&A systems, Power BI and/or SQL.
- Experience with PowerPoint and exposure to DataBricks / Azure.
- Experience in a fast‑growing, PE‑owned environment.
Application Timeline
- Stage 1 – Video call with the talent acquisition team (15 minutes).
- Stage 2 – Introductory call with the hiring manager over Teams (15‑30 minutes).
- Stage 3 – Face‑to‑face or video interview with the hiring manager (45‑60 minutes).

Benefits & Salary
Salary: ÂŁ40,000 per annum + up to 20 % bonus on top of your base salary.
Location: Hybrid role based at either our Blackpool office or Manchester Spinningfields (heart of Manchester’s commercial hub). Flexible hours: core 8 am‑6 pm Monday‑Friday; 37.5 hours per week.
