Minimum Requirements

This role exists to grow our revenue in Germany and the wider German-speaking market.

You'll own the full sales cycle, from finding and qualifying opportunities through to closing and growing key accounts, and you'll be the face of Perceptual Robotics for wind operators, service providers and OEM partners across the region.

As business needs evolve you may take on other markets.

We're new to the German market, so the weight of the role sits on prospecting, customer education and winning new customers.

Growing existing accounts matters too.

Wind is the starting sector, and you'll help us find where else we can bring value.

This suits someone who wants to build a market close to the ground, backed by a company with proven traction and a strong product.

  • Winning new business (the priority)
  • Prospect and self-source opportunities: wind asset owners, ISPs and OEMs
  • Run outbound outreach and qualify inbound leads from Marketing
  • Educate a market that's new to autonomous inspection
  • Closing
  • Own demos, proposals, negotiation and close, across unit sales, inspection services and subscriptions, including tenders
  • Hit monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Growing existing accounts
  • Grow existing accounts and spot upsell and renewal.
  • Market and cross-functional
  • Build and run the DACH go-to-market plan with the Head of Sales
  • Represent us at industry events (e. g. Wind Energy Hamburg)
  • Track competitors, pricing and regulation in German renewables
  • Keep the CRM current, report on pipeline and forecast, and feed customer insight to the product roadmap

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years in B2B technology, software or industrial sales, ideally in wind, drones or a related technical sector
  • A track record of hitting or beating target, and of winning new accounts and growing them into key accounts over time
  • Comfortable with both leading KPIs (activity) and lagging KPIs (revenue and pipeline value)
  • Strong contract negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills, with experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Experienced maintaining and using CRM data
  • Native or fluent German, written and spoken, plus fluent business English
  • Comfortable taking ownership; we're small and we'll expect you to run with what you own
  • Able to work well in a distributed, remote team
  • Willing to travel within Germany and occasionally across Europe, with reasonable notice
  • Desired Requirements
  • Existing network in the German wind industry (asset owners, ISPs, OEMs)
  • Understanding of wind Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
  • Based in Germany with the right to work there
  • Familiarity with AI-based damage detection or inspection technology
  • Experience selling drone-based products or services
  • Experience responding to public or private tenders
  • Experience in outbound and cold prospecting as well as closing
  • Engineering, technical or business degree, or equivalent experience

Benefits

  • Company share option plan
  • Commission on top of base salary
  • Flexible hours, including working from home
  • Annual training budget to develop your skills and career
