This is a fixed-term employee role (not a freelance contract).

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a live application built with .NET, integrating with Azure-hosted APIs and external hardware like cameras and printers. You’ll support key development tasks from error logging and bug fixing to DevOps and UI improvements; gaining hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle.

  • Essential:
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Basic experience with WPF/XAML
  • Understanding of object-oriented principles and version control
  • Interest in DevOps and modern development tools
  • Awareness of security principles in application development
  • Desirable:
    • Exposure to REST APIs, Azure services, and logging frameworks (e.g., Serilog)
    • Experience with .NET Blazor
    • Experience with hardware integration (e.g. printers, cameras)
    • Basic SQL or database knowledge

    We’d love to find:

    • A strong problem-solver with attention to detail
    • A self-starter who’s eager to learn and ask questions
    • A team player who communicates clearly and respectfully
    • Someone excited by the chance to work on a real product in a supportive environment

    Why join us?

    • A supportive and flexible work culture in a small and friendly team
    • Hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle
    • Opportunities for professional growth and development
    • Remote or hybrid working (if remote, must be prepared to come to our offices in Leamington Spa for initial training during induction).
    • 'Work from anywhere' policy (subject to legal and tax regulations)
    • 22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, with additional company days often allocated at Christmas
    • 5% employer pension contribution

This is a great fit for someone who wants to build experience quickly and make a meaningful contribution in a tech-driven organisation. There may be potential to extend or move into a permanent role depending on project needs.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion, or background. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.

Apply now to kick-start your development career in a role where you’ll genuinely make a difference. Please submit your CV with a cover letter, outlining how you meet our essential and desirable requirements listed above.
