Due to continued business growth, we are expanding our Medical Imaging team and seeking an accomplished Principal Scientist with deep expertise in Hematology. This is a remote‑based role offering the opportunity to shape imaging strategy for global clinical trials and advance the evaluation of innovative investigational therapies.

About the Role

As a Principal Scientist, you will serve as a scientific leader across multiple imaging‑driven clinical studies. You will independently guide the development of imaging acquisition guidelines, contribute to project‑critical documentation, and support imaging application development. You will also lead internal, site, and independent reviewer training, ensuring scientific rigor and consistency across trial execution. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams and act as a key scientific liaison for clients, providing clear communication, expert consultation, and risk mitigation throughout the study lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead authoring and review of scientific and imaging‑related project documents, including imaging acquisition guidelines, reviewer manuals, and QC instructions.
  • Develop and deliver training for investigator sites, internal teams, and independent reviewers.
  • Support imaging application and workflow development, including requirements review and user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in reviewer selection and lead reviewer training, performance monitoring, and quality oversight.
  • Contribute to client meetings and ensure scientific excellence across deliverables.
  • Identify quality risks, support audits, and implement corrective actions.

About You

Ideally you'll be an MD/PhD with relevant clinical research experience but we're also keen to hear from you if you have a relevant MSc with significant clinical research experience or, indeed, if you possess a BSc/Nursing/Technologist background with substantial clinical research experience. Strong background in medical imaging within the life sciences industry. Exceptional communication skills, critical thinking ability, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
