Job Purpose
The Project Manager II will ensure that Perceptive Discovery's research projects are conducted on time and within budget by leading the internal project teams and collaborating with our sponsors and clinical CRO partners. As the primary point of contact between Perceptive Discovery and our partners you will be responsible for providing regular operational updates and working with the internal team members to provide support and assistance on a variety of tasks to facilitate successful study conduct.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Project & Study Execution
- Coordinate study planning, Start-up, Maintenance, and Close-out.
- Responsible for leading and managing early and late phase imaging projects
- Strong project management, analytical, problem solving, strategic and organizational skills
- Utilize project management tools to plan, track, prioritize and communicate timelines and deliverables to the internal and external teams
- Prepare project plans and manage various study projects in varied phases of study
- Actively manage the timelines considering impact on resources and revenue forecasting
- Assess overall project quality including risk identification and mitigation
- Identify issues and as needed, works with the appropriate team member(s) to resolve issues affecting project scope, quality, effort, risk and timelines
- Serve as back-up to assigned project managers and take on individual project assignments as necessary to support the business
- Conduct regularly scheduled teleconferences with the client, managing the agenda, meeting minutes and actions, as required
- Support development of study documents, (Communication Plan, Source Data Agreements, Project Plan, etc)
- Maintain operational documentation and support study-specific reporting needs.
- Assist in the standardization of project management processes including Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
- Communicate timelines and deliverables clearly and consistently to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with authoring and/or approval of project required documents and templates as applicable
- Manage the study to contract specifications and timelines, including proactive management of budget, Rev Rec, pass-through costs and change orders as necessary
- Ensure accurate financial tracking and forecasting across assigned projects
- Ensure all terms and conditions for the project contracts are enforced correctly.

- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested to support departmental or organizational needs.
- Supports internal, sponsor, or regulatory audits as necessary for associated projects

Experience, Education, and Certifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant scientific subject or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical research, or hospital environment preferred
- PMP Certification and Medical Imaging experience preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of GCP and ICH regulations and guidelines and an understanding of their application in the conduct of clinical research.
- Strong Project Management, analytical, problem solving, strategic and organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in strict compliance with all SOPs, rules and regulations
- English: Fluent
