Company Description
Customers are no longer only searching through blue links. They are asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and other answer engines which brands to choose, what a company is known for, and which options are best. Perceptiq helps brands understand where they are visible in AI answers, whether AI describes them correctly, where competitors are winning instead, and what to fix next. We combine AI visibility, brand perception, explainable diagnosis, and practical action into one workflow for lean teams. We are looking for someone who understands this shift deeply and wants to help build one of the companies defining it.
About the Role
As our GEO & SEO Growth Manager, you will sit at the intersection of growth, organic discovery, AI search strategy, and customer value creation. You should already understand the logic behind GEO, AEO, and modern SEO, and how the search engine and AI chatbot landscape is evolving. You should be comfortable thinking across traditional search engines, answer engines, large language model chat products, citations, content structure, brand positioning, and the factors that influence visibility, recommendation, and representation. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to help shape both Perceptiq’s growth engine and the playbooks our customers use to improve their AI visibility.
What You Will Do
- Own and improve Perceptiq’s GEO and AEO growth playbooks.
- Turn market knowledge into practical strategies for B2B and D2C customers.
- Build frameworks for how customers can improve AI visibility, AI brand perception, and recommendation outcomes.
- Research and monitor the evolving search, answer engine, and AI assistant landscape.
- Translate product insights into customer-facing recommendations, growth content, and enablement assets.
- Work closely with the founders on messaging, category education, positioning, and go-to-market execution.
- Help agencies and in-house teams understand how to package and operationalize AI search optimization.
- Contribute to case study thinking, audit frameworks, website content, landing pages, and thought leadership.
- Identify patterns across customer segments such as digital-first brands, ecommerce brands, SaaS companies, and agencies.
- Help create clear, evidence-backed recommendations that move customers from analysis to action.
What Success Looks Like
In this role, success means that you help Perceptiq do three things well:
- Educate the market clearly.
- Help customers improve their AI visibility and brand representation in a practical way.
- Turn an emerging category into repeatable growth and customer outcomes.
You should be excited by the idea of helping define a category while also doing the real work needed to make it commercially successful.
What We Are Looking For
Must-have experience
- Strong working knowledge of GEO, AEO, and SEO.
- Strong understanding of how search engines and AI chatbot providers differ in how they surface, summarize, compare, and recommend brands.
- Broad familiarity with the current search and AI provider landscape, including tools such as Google Search and AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and similar platforms.
- Experience in growth, SEO, content strategy, organic acquisition, demand generation, or a closely related role.
- Ability to connect strategy with execution.
- Ability to write clearly and think commercially.
- Comfort working in an early-stage startup where speed, ownership, and ambiguity are part of the game.
Strong plus
- Experience working with agencies or inside agency environments.
- Experience serving or marketing to B2B SaaS, digital-first brands, or D2C and ecommerce customers.
- Understanding of what agency buyers need when they want to productize a new service line.
- Familiarity with how lean SMB teams buy and use tools.
- Experience turning research into customer-facing playbooks, audits, growth content, or strategic recommendations.
Mindset fit
- You are curious, sharp, and commercially minded.
- You like being early.
- You do not just follow playbooks. You build them.
- You are energized by helping customers win in markets that are changing fast.
- You can go from high-level strategy to practical action without losing clarity.
Your Benefits
You get to work on a real shift in how brands are discovered. You help shape a category that is still early and wide open. You join a startup that is building around a sharper point of view than generic AI visibility tracking. You get real ownership and a chance to influence product, messaging, and growth. You work remotely with a team that values initiative, clarity, and practical results.
Interested? Send us your LinkedIn profile, resume, or a short note explaining why you are a strong fit for this role. If you have worked on GEO, AEO, SEO, AI search strategy, or organic growth in a way that shows real practical thinking, we would love to hear from you.
