- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
- Salary: Base Salary £26,500 with on‑target earnings (OTE) up to £41,000.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Sales Coordinator supports our client’s Component Sales (FCS) team by driving revenue growth through both new business development and strong management of existing customer accounts. The role involves proactively engaging with customers via phone, email and chat—using Salesforce to track interactions, manage accounts and produce accurate quotations. Responsible for the full sales cycle, the Sales Coordinator identifies and qualifies leads, schedules sales appointments, secures purchase orders and coordinates order processing with internal teams. The role works closely with product development, purchasing, finance, sales and marketing to ensure customers receive timely and accurate responses throughout the sales process.
During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Prepare accurate customer pricing and quotations, ensuring compliance with internal processes and approval requirements.
- Maintain and update CRM systems such as Salesforce to ensure accurate data and minimise pricing, invoicing and order errors.
- Manage customer quotes, registrations and pricing documentation, including review, corrections and approval coordination.
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to source parts, issue RFQs and support supply route analysis.
- Generate new sales opportunities through prospecting, research, customer outreach and follow‑ups to meet activity targets.
- Support customer enquiries, promote product knowledge and coordinate qualified sales meetings while assisting with cross‑departmental requests.
What You Bring To The Role
- Previous entry‑level sales experience, including outbound prospecting, achieving targets and closing sales; B2B experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with internal systems such as SAP, Salesforce and automotive parts is beneficial.
- A‑level education or equivalent experience required.
- Strong sales, negotiation and client relationship management skills, with the ability to handle objections effectively.
- Excellent communication, research, analytical, organisational and time‑management skills; able to work independently or in a team.
- Proactive, IT‑literate and confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office to support sales and administrative tasks.
