SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT – WOLVERHAMPTON | IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY

Job Type: Full-time | Temporary / Permanent

School Support: 1:1 & small-group SEN support

Are you a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant or Behaviour Support professional passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive? We're looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wolverhampton.

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
  • Support pupils with Autism (ASC/ASD), ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs
  • Help implement EHCPs and IEPs
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers/SENCO
  • Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes, trips and activities
  • SEN/SEND school experience
  • Teaching Assistant or Learning Support experience
  • Autism / ADHD / SEMH experience
  • 1:1 pupil support experience
  • EHCP / IEP experience
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN/SEND is highly desirable.

Safeguarding: The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references and all required pre-employment checks in line with KCSIE guidance.
