Type: Full-time | Temporary / Permanent Do you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine impact every day?

We're seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wolverhampton .

You'll work closely with pupils, teachers, and the SEN team to provide the support children need to build confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and reach their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing βœ… Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. βœ… Supporting the delivery of EHCPs and Individual Education Plans (IEPs). βœ… Assisting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other additional learning needs. βœ… Adapting learning activities to meet individual pupil needs and encourage engagement. βœ… Promoting positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence. βœ… Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teachers and the SENCO. βœ… Supporting with personal care where required while maintaining dignity and safeguarding standards. βœ… Creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. βœ… Supporting pupils during lessons, breaktimes, school trips, and extracurricular activities. βœ… Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for every child.

Safeguarding The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and all pre-employment checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance.
