Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Systems Administrator - Junior to support this mission at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order.
  • Applies fundamental operating system and network protocol knowledge to support the secure and efficient operation of C2ISR Data Transport Infrastructure platforms.
  • Supports GLOBAL INFRASTRUCTURE Primary transport and dissemination systems including DDS, B1DDS, B2TR, B3IGS.
  • Supports Cloud infrastructure including GC2, mC2, Joint Cloud with DAF CLOUDworks.
  • Supports Operations and Management systems including ServiceNow, CDS, CAAP.
  • Supports network infrastructure including RGEPs, IGEPs, MGEP, ground terminals and gateways.
  • Supports multiple network domains (e.g., Commercial, NIPR (CUI), SIPR, JWICS).
  • Performs routine system administration tasks such as user account creation and modification within Active Directory or LDAP, basic file system management, and verifying system logs for anomalies.
  • Assists in implementing systematic monitoring agents on technological systems and network components, configuring basic alert thresholds and responding to low-severity notifications.
  • Supports user and systems access management by executing predefined scripts or GUI tools for granting/revoking permissions to shared resources.
  • Aids in the coordination and support of Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) by performing pre- and post-maintenance checks and providing initial troubleshooting for common system errors.
  • Works under direct supervision, focusing on executing routine operational tasks, basic scripting, and developing foundational knowledge of C2ISR system administration processes.
  • Utilizes role-specific tools, including OS administration tools, virtualization platforms, Active Directory/LDAP, ticketing systems, remote desktop tools, backup and DR platforms, SIEM tools, network monitoring tools, CMDB, compliance templates, and endpoint security tools.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with a BS/BA degree or 0 years with an MS/MA or 6 years with no degree; 4 years with AS/AA degree.
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
  • US citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System certificate within six months of the assignment.

Work Environment

Location: Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar. On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking. Travel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments.

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
