We are seeking highly cleared professionals who excel at the intersection of advanced communications infrastructure, distributed systems, and mission assurance where reliability, security, and performance are paramount. Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Network Administrator - Journeyman to support this mission at Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot robust network infrastructure; develop diagnostic capabilities; resolve mission-critical C2ISR Data Transport Infrastructure network challenges.
  • Independently perform end-to-end infrastructure testing and connectivity verification for complex network paths; diagnose issues across physical, data link, and network layers.
  • Conduct advanced technical diagnostic strategies to identify, analyze, and resolve moderate to complex network performance issues across global transport systems using tools like packet analyzers, SNMP, and command-line diagnostics.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and predictive troubleshooting methodologies; configure alerts and dashboards to anticipate and prevent outages.
  • Support the precise pushing out of routing configurations and coordinate changes with the DISA Operational Support Cell (OSC) and Command Satellite Operations (SATOPS)-ISR under guidance.
  • Operate with latitude in resolving complex network problems to ensure continuous operational effectiveness and minimal disruptions for C2ISR services.
  • Utilize TO Management & Financial Tracking Tools and Role Specific Tools described in project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Network Administrator or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level; Minimum of 5 years' experience with a BS/BA, 3 years with an MS/MA, or 0 years with a PhD, or 9 years without a degree, or 7 years with AS/AAA current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
  • US citizenship is required.
  • DoD 8140 role for WRC: 441; Element: IT; Work Role: Network Operations Specialist; Proficiency Level: Intermediate / Ability to obtain.

Desired Qualifications

  • Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.

Work Environment

  • Location: Al Udeid Air Base, Doha, Qatar.
  • On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presence required for equipment management and asset tracking.
  • Travel: May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites for logistics coordination and facility assessments.

  • Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
