What you will be doing:
- Reporting to the Head in UK, your main responsibility is to build relationships with merchants from scratch.
- Attend industry events and networking conferences.
- Pro-actively contact partners through email, LinkedIn, telephone and face-to-face appointments and achieve and evidence minimum KPI activity levels as set by the Head in the UK.
- Actively assist the team during the onboarding process by collecting and pre-vetting due diligence documentation.
- Assist in closing larger international deals.
- Provide market insights, feedback and opportunity input to the product team.
We are looking for:
- 3+ years of successful experience in business development roles, consistently exceeding targets, with at least 2+ years in banking/payments vertical.
- Experience of outbound selling products into the SME / large business market.
- Familiarity with leading CRM’s and highly analytical of sales stats and KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to remove blockers, relentlessly drive for improvement, and manage multiple stakeholders to get things done quickly.
- Someone who gets hands-on and is excited to get involved in closing big deals and building strategic partnerships.
