About our client
We are working with a pioneering Private Equity fund investing across businesses that drive long-term environmental and economic resilience. With a focus on industrials and services companies that enable the energy transition and support broader sustainability goals, the firm partners closely with portfolio companies to support rapid yet responsible growth. They are now looking to add a VP or Director to their impressive London-based team. This role spans across multiple direct PE fund strategies, with a focus predominantly on UK investments. The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing and executing new deals, as well as managing portfolio companies, working directly with the firm’s partners on a global scale.
What the job involves
- Lead on deal origination, including market mapping, company-target identification and manage key advisor network
- Take a leading role in investment process from DD work-streams, legal, debt and management negotiations and internal investment committee process
- Board representation on existing and newly invested portfolio companies
- Leading on investment committee memos / supporting on presentations
- Working across multiple funds with different strategies within PE
Who we are looking for
- Experience in a private equity investment role, with proven experience across the deal cycle and a track record of completed deals
- Ability to originate deals through existing advisor network
- Entrepreneurial and a self-starter
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
- Compelling written and oral communication skills and fluency in English; ability to interact with key stakeholders internally and externally with a wide range of seniority
