About our client

Our client, a leading private markets advisory firm, is currently seeking to hire an Operations Manager to join its London-based team. With a strong focus across the European market, the firm is highly regarded within its sector and has advised a number of Europe’s leading private equity firms. Following a recent period of growth, the business is now looking to expand its operations function to support its next phase of development. This role offers a high level of autonomy and broad exposure across both the operational and front-office sides of the business.

What the job involves

  • Providing operational support and oversight across the business, while partnering closely with the COO and senior management team on a broad range of compliance matters and selected legal requests.
  • Managing day-to-day business operations, workplace matters, and employee life-cycle activities.
  • Overseeing external service providers in regard to benefits and training.
  • Managing relationships with fund administrators, banks, lenders, and other stakeholders.
  • Acting as a key contact for clients, including requests, billing, and payment monitoring.
  • Supporting transaction administration, record keeping, and project cost reconciliations.
  • Coordinating due diligence for new funds, investors, and fundraising activities.
  • Managing AML/KYC, financial crime oversight, FCA matters, and company compliance.
  • Providing compliance advice and drafting/reviewing NDAs, term sheets, and contracts.

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience working within a varied operations role.
  • Experience ideally gained within the financial services or professional services sector.
  • Previous exposure to compliance and legal matters.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with an agile attitude towards work.
