About our client

Our client is a successful and well-established international asset manager, with an impressive private equity fund and co-investments team based in London. They are currently seeking an Investment Manager to join the team in a deal‑lead role. The group has an enviable track record investing both via funds and co‑investments across Europe and the United States. They work across a broad mandate in the mid‑market up to the large‑cap space and are active co‑investors with a number of their GPs.

What the job involves

  • Conducting due diligence on co‑investment opportunities
  • Conducting due diligence on private equity funds including track record analysis, benchmarking and referencing
  • Preparing investment recommendation papers for presentation to the investment committee
  • Assisting in the closing process of new investments (e.g. legal review, AML/KYC workstreams)
  • Assisting in the coverage of the European private equity market by engaging with existing managers, screening new managers, and maintaining market maps
  • Monitoring of existing fund investments and co‑investments
  • Assisting in the preparation of Board papers and results announcements

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in private equity investing either as an LP or GP
  • Financial analysis and modelling experience
