About our client
Our client, a global large-cap private equity fund, currently hires a Funds Legal Counsel to join its London office and be part of the global legal team. The firm, well established in the industry, invests through multi-asset classes and has a strong international presence. Due to growth and plans to close multiple fundraises in the next few years, the fund seeks an experienced private equity funds lawyer to support its team.
What the job involves
- Take charge of structuring and establishing the firm's funds from start to finish
- Prepare, review and negotiate all essential documentation for fund formation
- Serve as the lead legal architect for fund frameworks in multiple jurisdictions
- Provide guidance on fund economics and structural aspects
- Act as main legal contact point for LPs during fundraising activities
- Direct and coordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage ad-hoc corporate and business-based legal tasks when needed
Who we are looking for
- Experienced in private equity or private credit fund formation
- Experience gained from private practice or in-house within a fund
