What the job involves
- Working within the London‑based private equity team, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the deal team, supporting both new LBO investments and ongoing portfolio company monitoring.
- As an Associate, you will also take on responsibility for guiding and mentoring more junior analysts, while coordinating workflows across internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, including preparing analysis and investment materials.
- Building and reviewing financial models (incl. LBOs) and conducting valuation and business analysis.
- Coordinating due diligence processes and managing workstreams with external advisors during live deals.
- Preparing investment committee materials, internal reports, and portfolio monitoring documentation.
- Analysing financials, performing comparable analysis, and generating insights on target companies and sectors.
- Working closely with senior team members and internal stakeholders (e.g. tax, ESG, legal) to support transactions.
- Producing value‑add analysis on portfolio companies, including performance tracking and strategic recommendations.
- Conducting market and sector research to inform investment strategy.
Who we are looking for
- At least 3 years’ experience in investment banking and/or private equity.
- Strong academic background in a relevant discipline.
- Advanced financial modelling skills, including LBO experience.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and defend your work.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
