As one of the largest direct lenders globally and in Europe, the firm has deployed tens of billions of euros across a broad portfolio of middle‑market companies. Following continued fundraising success and growth, they are looking to hire an Associate to join their London team, with a focus on restructuring and special situations.
What the job involves:
- The role is focused on helping manage complex and underperforming credit investments across the European direct lending portfolio, with a particular emphasis on restructuring and value preservation.
- Identifying and assessing underperforming credits and developing appropriate financial solutions.
- Supporting restructuring and liability management processes.
- Working closely with management teams, sponsors and external advisers on turnaround strategies.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders across investment, legal and portfolio teams.
- Supporting operational restructuring initiatives across a small number of directly owned assets.
Who we are looking for:
- Strong experience in operational restructuring advisory, special situations, or operational roles in private equity.
- Track record of involvement in restructuring processes and complex credit situations.
