A large international investment fund is seeking to hire a Legal Counsel to join its London team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful and globally recognised organisation as it continues to expand its investment activity and presence across the European market.

Our client is a highly regarded international investment organisation with over $100 billion in assets under management globally. The firm has built a sophisticated investment platform across both private and public markets and is recognised for its long‑term investment approach, strong performance track record, and collaborative, investor‑focused culture.
As part of its continued growth and increasing investment activity across Europe, the organisation is now looking to appoint a Legal Counsel to join its London‑based team.
What the job involves:
- Support investment deal flow across Private Equity transactions
- Partner closely with the wider Investment Legal team
- Provide legal support across the full transaction lifecycle, from origination through to execution
- Review and negotiate a broad range of investment, corporate and commercial agreements
- Advise on investment structuring, governance, and regulatory considerations
- Establish and manage SPVs and support ongoing legal and governance requirements for portfolio assets
- Provide practical legal advice to support broader business operations and commercial activities
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel
- Support company secretariat activities, governance frameworks, board matters, and policy development
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business
Who we are looking for:
- Experience gained working within the private equity, corporate or M&A practices
- Additional in‑house or secondment experience would be advantageous
- Proven strong stakeholder management experience
- Comfortable working autonomously and leading on deals
- Experience supporting transactions across multiple jurisdictions
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
