About our client
We are working with a long-standing, international private equity firm and advisory group with over $50bn in assets under management. They are now looking for an intelligent and ambitious Investor Relations Professional to join their global team and project manage end to end fundraising processes and support relationship management efforts with their existing investor base. The team are currently in full fundraising mode and are therefore seeking a hands-on, proactive individual, who is keen to hit the ground running. This is a well-regarded firm and collaborative, supportive team making this a great organisation to build your career in IR.
What the job involves
- Coordination of LP due diligence requests from existing and prospective fund investors including maintaining tracker and file structures to record inbound requests and their completion
- Data room management including document creation and organisation
- Take ownership of presentation work including marketing materials, teasers and investor content
- Creation and completion of investor diligence documents and Excel templates utilising support from existing IR team and other departments at the firm
- Creation of powerful, thoughtful and clear responses to both simple and sophisticated investor queries using a strong existing understanding of PE model
Who we are looking for
- Work experience in an investor relations role/project management for a private markets firm or a placement agent
- Excellent written English language skills and ability to create engaging presentations
- Strong numeracy skills and ability to understand financial concepts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player, able to take initiative and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly organised with an ability to thrive in a busy environment, prioritising workload effectively
- An understanding of, or experience within private equity would be advantageous
