We are working with a well-established private markets investor with a diversified private equity platform and a global institutional investor base. As part of its continued growth, the firm is seeking to add a German-speaking Associate or Senior Associate to its Investor Relations team.

What the job involves:

  • Prepare and coordinate ad-hoc and recurring reporting requests for EMEA investors in a timely manner.
  • Review and analyse investor portfolios using in-house quantitative tools, including cash flow & NAV planning.
  • Collaborate with firmwide teams in the creation of client communications and collateral materials.
  • Support the team with marketing efforts including RFPs, due diligence materials and presentations.
  • Manage the tracking database used to support the identification of prospective clients and monitor the status of investment discussions.
  • Complete special projects related to existing client portfolios and firmwide strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and organise internal processes and procedures to ensure consistency, integrity, timeliness, and quality of communications to investors.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and monitor industry events and trends.
  • Seek opportunities to improve efficiencies to support the firm's marketing needs and processes.

Who we are looking for:

  • Native proficiency in German and a strong written and verbal communication in English.
  • Previous experience in a professional services firm, preferably with an investment/wealth management firm in investor relations or client service related role with a demonstrated capability of supporting research and analytics.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Strong business writing skills and the ability to communicate business and financial services product information clearly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of private markets and the institutional client and consultant community preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency with proprietary databases and software systems including CRM database systems, ideally Salesforce.
  • Ability to synthesise technical information and prepare technical materials and related documentation in a timely manner.
  • Strategic thinker and operates independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
