Our client, a leading mid-market private equity fund with a strong global track record, is currently seeking a Corporate Governance Associate to join their London team. As the firm enters an exciting phase of growth, they are placing a strong emphasis on strengthening their specialist functions across the business.
What the job involves:
- Overseeing company secretarial, legal, and regulatory matters for the fund and its group entities.
- Working within the legal team, gaining immediate exposure to a broad range of activities and collaborating closely with other specialist functions, including compliance, tax, and finance.
- Providing company secretarial support, including board packs and formal minutes.
- Preparation of general legal documents, including NDAs, engagement letters, and terms sheets.
- Assisting on regulatory filings.
- Maintaining statutory registers and corporate records.
- Conducting legal research and preparing required documentation.
- Liaising with external providers.
- Owning insurance schemes.
Who we are looking for:
