We distribute across 50+ countries and are accelerating our UK retail performance. We also have a trading arm of the business with access to some of the best brands with exclusive distribution rights in the UK and internationally.
We are seeking a commercially astute National Account Manager to drive growth across our grocery, mass-market, and gifting channels. This role will be critical in unlocking volume and revenue opportunities in high-footfall and high-frequency retail environments — from masstige retailers, major grocery multiples to occasion-led gifting platforms, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key Responsibilities- Own and grow strategic relationships with major grocery multiples (Superdrug, Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Ocado) and gifting platforms (Moonpig, Interflora, Clintons, Not On The High Street).
- Develop and execute account plans that maximise seasonal gifting performance; particularly Christmas, Father's Day, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day.
- Lead Joint Business Planning (JBP) cycles, range reviews, and promotional negotiations with buyers and category teams.
- Deliver net revenue, distribution, and margin targets across the grocery and gifting portfolio.
- Identify and pitch opportunities to secure incremental space, promotions, and feature activity within grocery beauty/gifting aisles.
- Collaborate with brand and supply chain teams to ensure gifting sets, bundles, and exclusive pack formats are commercially viable and operationally deliverable.
- Monitor sell-through, inventory levels, and promotional ROI — using data to optimise future.
- Support digital shelf performance on grocery e-commerce and online gifting platforms, working with digital and marketing teams.
- Explore and develop international wholesale or gifting opportunities where accounts have global reach.
- Provide regular trading updates, forecasts, and account reviews to the CCO and wider commercial team.
- Minimum 4–6 years of national account management within grocery FMCG, mass-market health & beauty, or consumer gifting.
- Proven experience managing one or more major grocery multiples (Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's) at buyer or NAM level.
- Track record with gifting platforms such as Moonpig, Interflora, or similar occasion-led retailers.
- Strong seasonal trading knowledge — ability to build, negotiate, and execute gifting window plans at scale.
- Comfortable working with volume-driven P&Ls, trade investment models, and promotional frameworks.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills across large, structured buying organisations.
- International account experience — export, cross-border e-commerce, or working with retailers with global gifting operations.
- Experience in fragrance, personal care, or licensed consumer goods categories.
- Familiarity with grocery e-commerce and digital shelf optimisation (Tesco.com, Ocado, ASDA.com).
- Background in licensed brand management or portfolio selling across multiple consumer brands.
- Understanding of gifting logistics — sets, bundling, display units, and seasonal supply chain planning.
- A portfolio of well-recognised licensed fragrance brands with strong gifting credentials.
- High commercial autonomy in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
- Competitive base salary with performance-related bonus.
- A genuine pathway into senior commercial leadership as Per-Scent continues to scale internationally.
