Role Snapshot: As part of a multi-channel retail business with ambitious growth plans, you will work alongside the visual merchandiser to ensure smooth running of the department. Experience as a Buyer is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Keeps abreast of competitor offer/pricing & reacts where necessary.
- Primary contact for suppliers’ sales teams.
- Build product ranges to support promotional events.
- Seeks new products to drive incremental sales.
- Set core & promotional retail pricing & maximize product margin.
- Forecast new & promotional line stock requirements.
- Provide stock & sales data for suppliers.
- Provide ad-hoc reports.
- Oversee ordering of all stock, testers & promotional items.
- Analyze performance of SKU’s.
