We are looking for a talented Junior Designer to produce creative and engaging designs across a multitude of media, from fragrance brands to beauty and skincare. You will work under the supervision of the Head of Design and this is a great opportunity to grow your skills. This is an exciting role for an aspiring designer as you will get to work across different brands in the beauty sector whilst learning multiple design disciplines, ranging from general design and art working to product and packaging design, art direction, motion and much more.
We are looking for someone who is highly creative in everything they do and has a sharp eye for detail.
Responsibilities- Understand project requirements and concepts
- Use various techniques to create concepts and follow this through to final artwork
- Produce final design solutions (like logos, banners)
- Pitch creative ideas
- Collaborate with team members to launch projects
- Take on special design tasks (e.g. retouching, photography)
- Use feedback from other designers to grow your skills
- Experience with Adobe design suite
- Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. typography, artworking)
- Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
- Teamwork skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Time management and multitasking abilities
- Creativity skills and a problem-solving aptitude
- Art Direction (not essential but nice to have)
- Motion Design (not essential but nice to have)
- Any 3D product design is also desirable but not essential
