About our client
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist private equity investor with a global mandate. As the team continues to grow, you\’ll take on a key role in managing fund operations for an international fund, overseeing fund finance, performance analytics, and portfolio valuations across multiple jurisdictions. You\’ll work closely with senior leadership, support the investment team on deals, and engage with external partners to strengthen controls and drive process improvements.
What the job involves
- Oversight and review of fund financial statements prepared by external parties
- Coordination of fund valuation and audit procedures
- Oversight of fund model and liquidity management
- Production and review of fund performance reports
- Assisting management with the rollout of new systems within fund finance and portfolio management
- Identifying and recommending process enhancements across fund operations and portfolio analytics
- Assisting the broader finance team with transaction execution and deal-related activities
- Supporting portfolio monitoring efforts and liaising with portfolio companies to gather data and analytics
- Providing ad-hoc support to the wider business as needed
Who we are looking for
- Qualified accountant
- Background in fund finance within the private markets sector
- Experience in private equity portfolio valuations control and processes
- Strong analytical capabilities with a keen eye for detail
- Strong understanding of MS Office and accounting or portfolio systems
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
