Our client is a world leading private investment house with assets of US$200bn. The firm has an excellent track record, spanning several decades in Europe, the Americas and Asia. They are looking for someone analytically minded with strong analytical and technical capabilities to join their portfolio team in their private credit business. The credit platform is one of the largest and most active in Europe with $45bn AuM and a strong track record through multiple market cycles. What the job involves:
- Managing exposure to portfolio companies: Undertaking financial statement analysis, dialogue with management, and preparing and conducting additional analysis, research, and modelling; liaising with the deal teams on corporate actions including amendments, add-ons and refinancings.
- Investment Valuation: Supplying inputs to establish valuations of positions in the private credit portfolio; liaising with external valuation providers.
- Investor Engagement, Reporting & Analytics: Liaising with internal teams on investor queries, transaction disclosures and providing inputs for regular investor reporting.
- Communication and Presentation: Being part of the team that provides regular updates to the Investment Committee on portfolio credits.
- Ad-hoc Requirements: Engaging with the Investment Committee and members of various internal teams including broader credit organisation, origination, legal, client product solutions, compliance, audit, treasury and operations teams.
