About our client
Our client is a global alternative asset management group that has developed a wide range of expertise across the private markets. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hugely impressive firm as a Senior Accountant and work within a broad and varied position, closely alongside senior members of the finance team. This role will work across financial reporting, liaising with external service providers and compliance as well as tax co-ordination amongst numerous areas of responsibility. - Participate and review quarterly reporting packages for 3 UK entities in connection with external accounting firm
- Journal entries, liaising with auditors, financial statement review
- Intercompany and bank reconciliations
- Tax coordination role: VAT submissions, collation of data for relevant reports, liaising with external accounting firm for tax matters
- Compliance: relevant regulatory reporting, reporting evolution and planning, monitor capital requirements
- Daily management of invoicing/payments, monthly reconciliations and accurate ledger maintenance
Who we are looking for
- Qualified accountant
- Reliable, efficient and motivated individual
- Experience within capital markets, asset management or financial services would be desirable
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP standards
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to take ownership for processes and drive results within an international environment
- French language would be a plus
