About our client
We are collaborating with an esteemed venture capital fund which specialises in pre-seed and seed investing. They are currently seeking a high calibre, Senior, Investor to join their team. With a focus on diverse sectors including consumer, digital health, clean health and software, our client maintains a proven co-investment model alongside top-tier angel investors in the UK.
For this specific hire, the team are looking for someone with a scientific degree who is open to spending some time in the head office in Sheffield. What the job involves
- You will assume a pivotal role in screening, assessment, and execution of investment transactions
- You will foster relationships with founders and senior management teams of start-ups to ensure a steady flow of investment opportunities
- You will conduct thorough due diligence to formulate robust investment hypotheses
- You will act as a representative of the firm at industry gatherings and conferences, cultivating partnerships and enhancing visibility within the sector
- You will provide post-investment support to portfolio companies and actively contribute to their growth and success
