About our client Our client is a highly successful, lower mid-market private equity firm who is looking to grow their portfolio team. You will be responsible for the development and execution of value creation strategies and pre-deal due diligence alongside the investment team. You\’ll act as the key point of contact across the portfolio; providing feedback to the broader team. You will identify repeatable successes and challenges, working in partnership with management teams to drive growth and provide value. The support you provide to management teams will encourage success and innovation. What the job involves Work closely with colleagues and management teams, pre-and-post deal to put into place and execute value creation plans. Drive best practice and consistency of approach across the portfolio by tracking performance of value creation activities against project plans. Ad-hoc projects across the portfolio, building strong relationships with CEOs, Chairs and senior management team members. Who we are looking for Relevant experience as a private equity investor or from within a previous value creation role with a demonstrated ability to successfully drive business change programmes and deliver added value outcomes. Commercial application of knowledge of the growth industry, and a clear and demonstrable strategic mindset is essential. Have an ability to identify and define business questions and issues, and develop strategic, analytical and financial frameworks to conduct analysis. Have strong communication and presentation skills. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to gain the trust and respect of Founders, CEOs, Chairs and other senior executives and shareholders.
