What the job involves
- Working directly with the CIO, the new team member will play a central role in identifying, researching, and evaluating investment opportunities, with a particular focus on balance sheet-intensive financial services companies.
- Conducting in-depth fundamental research and financial analysis on potential investments.
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models to evaluate companies in the financial sector.
- Performing rigorous due diligence using both top-down and bottom-up approaches.
- Monitoring market trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes affecting the banking and insurance sectors.
- Presenting investment ideas directly to the Portfolio Manager.
- Attending industry conferences and management meetings to develop proprietary insights.
- Tracking and evaluating the performance of existing investments and providing recommendations.
Who we are looking for
- 3-6 years in investment banking or private equity experience.
