About our client
Our client is a leading European investment firm backed by a highly entrepreneurial LP base, including prominent family businesses and industry leaders. With over €5bn of invested and committed capital across multiple strategies, the platform has built a strong track record partnering with founders and families in long-term value creation.
Within the platform, the firm's opportunities strategy focuses on larger, well-established businesses across healthcare, life sciences and technology, investing €150m+ of equity in both majority and strong minority transactions across Europe. The team combines deep sector expertise with institutional investment experience and is now building out its London presence with a small, highly pedigreed group of senior investors.
What the job involves
- This is a rare opportunity to join a growing London-based team at an early stage of its build-out, working directly with senior partners on complex, large-cap transactions across Europe.
- Supporting the evaluation and execution of majority and minority investments across healthcare, life sciences and tech.
- Building and owning detailed financial models, valuation analyses and transaction materials.
- Conducting commercial and strategic analysis, including market deep-dives and competitive positioning.
- Coordinating due diligence processes alongside advisors and management teams.
- Supporting portfolio companies post-acquisition, including strategic initiatives and add-on opportunities.
Who we are looking for
- Several years of experience in top-tier investment banking (M&A or leveraged finance) and/or relevant private equity roles.
- Strong academic background with a demonstrable record of high achievement.
- Highly technical skillset, with the ability to independently build complex financial models and assess transaction structures.
- Genuine interest in healthcare, life sciences and technology sectors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build out a growing London presence.
- Strong cultural fit: collaborative, low-ego, intellectually curious and motivated by long-term partnership investing rather than short-term financial engineering.
