About our client
We are working with a successful lower mid-market private equity firm. They are currently investing their third fund, which comprises over £180m of committed capital plus co-investments.
They work proactively in partnership with managers to support and accelerate business growth, whether organically, through acquisition, or a combination of the two. In addition to investing the fund, they have an ongoing co-investment programme.
In order to manage existing investors, future fundraises and co-investment processes, they are looking to grow their Investor Relations team with the addition of an ambitious Investor Relations professional to work closely with the Partners and their Investor Relations Director. What the job involves
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of marketing and fundraising materials including investor presentations, Private Placement Memorandum, due diligence materials, case studies, data room and other bespoke investor documentation
- Work closely with the Partners, getting to know the investor base and contribute to the proactive outreach programme to existing and potential investors
- Attend investor meetings, initially alongside Partners/IR Director ensuring all preparation materials and follow ups are completed
- Identify and develop new relationships, both institutional and UHNWIs
- Drive and project manage co-investment opportunities - a key element of the role
- Respond to ad-hoc investor queries and requests
- Coordinate quarterly reporting
- Manage PitchBook and CRM system
- Travel regularly alongside senior team members and provide support on roadshow coordination
- Strong academic background with previous experience in investor relations or placement agent. Other backgrounds such as investment banking or investments will be considered
- Good financial and commercial acumen, able to disseminate complex data into high quality investor friendly content
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel
- Robust presentation preparation experience
- Strong organisational and project management skills

- Team player mentality with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
