About our client
We are working with a top-tier venture growth firm with over $1bn in assets under management and a diversified, global investor base. The firm is seeking a dynamic and proactive team player to head up their Investor Relations function and work closely with the partners on all areas of investor engagement and fundraising.
This is a compelling opportunity where you will be responsible for identifying new potential LPs through to managing existing long-standing relationships whilst strategically contributing to the further professionalisation of the overall investor experience including implementing processes and best practices. What the job involves
- Collaborate closely with the partners in driving effective fundraising processes and maintaining a positive investor experience
- Manage existing and long-standing relationships with LPs across different geographies with regular travel involved
- Create business development strategies to identify new potential LPs
- Maintain and solidify a positive investor experience through regular updates and the creation of bespoke written material
- Further develop processes and implement best practices across the investor relations function
- An experienced investor relations and fundraising professional or investor on the LP side looking to transition to investor relations
- A genuine interest in, or knowledge of, venture capital and/or growth
- An ability to work independently, driving projects through to completion
- Good technical skills including sound knowledge of fund structures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
