About our client

We are working with an award-winning placement agent and advisory firm which is looking to build out their primary fundraising team. This team assists both fund managers in alternative asset classes (private equity, venture capital, private debt and infrastructure) and entrepreneurs/private companies seeking to raise capital through private placement.

What the job involves

  • Coordinating and creating materials for LP/GP meetings and calls efficiently and within deadlines
  • Maintaining all fundraising-related documentation - including status reports, activity reports, roadshow calendars, investor profiles and agendas
  • Preparing analysis on GP portfolios to enable deal teams to benchmark industry players and analyse capital flows both regionally and globally
  • Conducting research and analysis into the private equity market - including fund managers (GPs), investors (LPs), various trends and specifics related to either GPs and LPs, macro-economic and micro-economic dynamics, as well as legal, regulatory compliance
  • Coordinating GP roadshows and logistics
  • Overseeing the work of Junior Analysts (where relevant)

Who we are looking for

  • Undergraduate degree from a recognised university
  • Industry professional qualifications desirable
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Fluency in a European language advantageous
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience, preferably at an investment bank, private equity firm, consultancy firm or placement agent
